    Today, I express my deep concern that the legislation, coming to a final vote in the Greek parliament this evening, could lead to the early release from prison of these terrorists and other criminals convicted of serious crimes against Greeks, Americans, and people of other nationalities.

    Non Proliferation Treaty

    From April 27-May 22 the international community will gather at the UN for the 5-year review of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). At the Conference, the U.S.will reaffirm its commitment to nonproliferation and a world free of nuclear weapons.

  • Terrorist Designations of Christodoulos Xiros and Nikolaos Maziotis

    April 21 - The U.S. Department of State has designated Christodoulos Xiros and Nikolaos Maziotis under Executive Order 13224, which targets terrorists and those providing support to terrorists or acts of terrorism. As a result of these designations, all property subject to U.S. jurisdiction in which Xiros and Maziotis have any interest is blocked and any assets they may have under U.S. jurisdiction are frozen. U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in any transactions with Xiros and Maziotis, or to their benefit.
