New Limits On Submitting Visa Applications: Noon Hour Now Only For Children, Persons Over Age 80

September 27, 2007

Effective October 1, 2007, the U.S. Embassy will modify its procedures for non-immigrant visa services. In order to streamline the process and provide effective service for our customers, the Embassy will limit applicants who can apply for a visa without a scheduled appointment. Applicants over the age of 80 and under the age of 14 who do not require an interview may continue to drop off their applications between 12:00 and 1:00 without an appointment. All other applicants, including seaman, applicants over 60 years old and those with recently expired visas, are kindly requested to schedule appointments via our website (www.usembassy.gr) or through our call center, e-value, by telephone. E-value can be reached by land line at 90.11.230.730, or by cell phone (Cosmote) at 901.200.6313, (Vodafone) at 901.694.6313, or WIND (TIM) at 901.160.6313 for a small fee.
