American Professor, Dr. Paul Hollander, Speaks at the American College of Thessaloniki

On April 29, Dr. Hollander, Professor Emeritus from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, spoke to students from the American College of Thessaloniki on the topic of anti-Americanism. Hollander began with a short introduction on the topic, discussing the roots of anti-Americanism and its variants around the world. After his presentation, members of the audience were able to ask questions and to engage in discussion on various topics related to anti-Americanism, especially in Greece. This event provided an opportunity to engage young students, Greek and third country nationals, to discuss anti-Americanism and its roots. The discussions seemed to elucidate the possible causes of anti-Americanism and dispel common misconceptions on the subject.
