The American Consulate General invited Americans living in Northern Greece, Greek officials, academics, friends and the press to join the Consul General and staff and watch the U.S. Presidential Election results together over breakfast on Wednesday, November 3, 2004. More than 200 people attended the event and heard Dr. David Wisner Chair of the International Relations Department of the American College of Thessaloniki and the Honorable Steven Plotkin, a former Appeal’s Court Judge and a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Aristotle University, who offered their insight and analysis as the state-by-state tallies came in. The guests exchanged views and opinions on the election.
