DAS Matthew Bryza meets with Thessaloniki University Students

During a brief visit of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs in Thessaloniki, a small group of University of Macedonia students had the opportunity to have a discussion on current affairs and pose questions to Mr. Bryza. Topics included U.S., Greek and Turkish relations, energy and security issues of the area, Balkan issues and developments.

In an informal and friendly environment, a group of senior, graduate and Ph.D. students had a lively, candid discussion with a senior State Department official, receiving direct information about U.S. policies in the area.
