Junior High Student Wins Prize in American-Greek Friendship Design Competition

Vassilis Chaidas, first grade student of Mantoulides junior high, won the first prize in a design competition on American-Greek Friendship that was organized by the U.S. Consulate General earlier this year.  The purpose of the competition was to highlight the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.  The Consulate invited students to submit drawings, paintings, designs or other images that represent the close relations between the U.S. and Greece and the common values and ties on which they are based.

Vassilis was awarded a Certificate of Achievement by Consul General Yee and of course some computer games.
