U.S. Consulate to be Closed Last Monday of Each Month
Athens (January 19, 2006) -- Effective January 30, 2006 the Consular Section of the United States Embassy in Athens, Greece will be closed to the public on the last Monday of each month for internal administrative reasons. This closure includes the non-immigrant visa unit, immigrant visa unit, federal benefits unit, American citizen services unit, and passport unit.
