U.S. EMBASSY/CONSULATE TO BE CLOSED NOVEMBER 22, 2007 Athens (November 19, 2007) -- The U.S. Embassy in Athens and its Consular Section, the U.S. Consulate General in Thessaloniki, and all U.S. Government offices in Greece will be closed on Thursday, November 22, 2007 in observance of Thanksgiving Day, a U.S. national holiday.
