Solid Waste and Recycling Policies

Thessaloniki Prefecture, Directorate of Environmental Protection organized a lecture – discussion on April 21, 2004 on “Solid Waste Recycling Policies” where EPA specialist Pamela Swingle spoke about recycling policies and problems in the United States. Many prefecture and municipal councilors followed the presentation and were very interested in knowing about the American experience in waste management.
