Call on Thessaloniki Harbor Master Commander
On October 5, Consul General Catherine Kay called on Thessaloniki Harbor Master Commander Constantinos Tsakamis. Commander Tsakamis provided CG Kay an overview of his office's operations and responsibilities and reviewed the successful visit of USS Bataan in June 2009, including the economic benefits it generated. CG Kay and Commander Tsakamis expressed mutual interest in encouraging similar ship visits in the future.
