Fulbright Orientation Program

On June 21, 2005, the Fulbright Foundation Office, under the direction of Dr. Demetrios Doutis, together with the U.S. Consulate General in Thessaloniki hosted an annual orientation program to guide Greek students in their final preparations as they embark on their undergraduate and graduate studies at academic institutions in the U.S.

With over forty participants, the session presented valuable information and advice from the Consul General Demitra Pappas and Consul General Ann Sides, who visited from the U.S. Embassy-Athens and discussed the visa application procedure. Other speakers, including students and professors, offered their perspective on academic expectations and cultural adjustment in the United States, as well.
