Consular Services and Outreach to Provincial Town of Kastoria

Kastoria

On March 9, Consul General Yee and members of the Consulate staff went to Kastoria, a city in west Macedonia, with a population of more than 1,000 American citizens. Kastoria is home to the Fur industry of Greece, and CG Yee and staff had the opportunity to attend the international fur exhibition that was taking place in Kastoria, March 6-9, 2007.

Consular services were provided for the American citizens residing in the area. At the same time, Consul General met with local authorities and business figures and discussed business opportunities and progress in Kastoria infrastructure in order to attract foreign investment.
