American-Hellenic Union of Kastoria Celebrates New Year

On February 2, Consulate General staff attended the New Year’s Reception and traditional cutting of the New Year’s Pita hosted by the American-Hellenic Union of Kastoria.  CG Yee addressed an audience of approximately 100 Greek-Americans, the Mayor of Kastoria and other local authorities.  In his speech, CG Yee stressed the close cooperation that the U.S. Consulate General of Thessaloniki has with the Union and urged participants to continue working together to strengthen Greek-American cooperation, solidarity and mutual understanding.
