Renowned Author and Journalist Bill Kovach in Thessaloniki

"Traditional Journalism and the Challenge of the New Media" was the theme of the presentation by American author and journalist Bill Kovach at the Journalists’ Union Conference Hall, on Thursday, March 9, 2006.
The renowned journalist, president and founding member or the Committee of Concerned Journalists, traveled to Greece on the occasion of the publication of the book The Elements of Journalism: What Newspeople Should Know and the Public Should Expect in Greek by the Kastaniotis Editions. Authors of the book are Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel.

About the author and his work, as well as about the media in Greece, in comparison with the United States and the rest of the European Union, Mr. Traianos Hatzidimitriou, director of Angelioforos and Angelioforos of Sunday, and Dr. Elsa Deliyanni, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Journalism and Mass Communications, AUTH participated in the panel. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Christos Frangonikolopoulos, Lecturer, Dept. of Journalism and Mass Communications, AUTH.
