Law Expert Discusses Environmental Protection in the United States
On October 13, Assistant Attorney General of the state of Minnesota Dr. Alan Williams spoke on the topic of “Environmental Protection in the United States: How Federalism Shapes American Environmental Law” to a group of 50 undergraduate Law School students at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Williams gave a brief explanation of how the American federal system is structured and how environmental protection laws and policies historically have been implemented under that system and reviewed recent developments in American environmental law.
