Docked in Thessaloniki from August 1 to 4, 2005

USS Mitscher (DDG 57) docked in Thessaloniki from August 1 to 4, and opened her gates for a visit by local officials and journalists. The ship is on an interdiction mission in the campaign against terrorism and participates in NATO Operation Active Endeavor.
