American Business Guru on “The Surprising Solution: Creating Possibility in a Swift and Severe World”
On October 21, the American College of Thessaloniki, with the support of the Consulate General of the United States in Thessaloniki and the Young Entrepreneurs of Thessaloniki, hosted a lecture on “The Surprising Solution: Creating Possibility in a Swift and Severe World” with American business guru and internationally known lecturer, Bruce Piasecki, president and founder of AHC Group Inc..
Mr. Piasecki put the focus on how the new conditions the world faces nowadays, such as climate change and oil depletion bring competition among enterprises to a new level. His main concern was whether or not these changes in the world can orient company policies toward taking under consideration social needs, which he called “Social Response Capitalism.”
