Since September 2006 SNAP in Athens connects diplomatic spouses and family members with local businesses. SNAP is active in 30 U.S. embassies and consulates throughout the world and assists spouses and family members with their career aspirations and job search.
SNAP offers to employers:
- Free advertisements in embassy publications.
- Screened applicants usually educated and trained in the U.S.
- Job candidates available for project, seasonal, or event work.
- Candidates can work full-time or part-time.
- Assistance with work-permit applications under the bilateral agreement.
- Cost-efficient employment solution: candidates live in Athens.
While SNAP clients benefit from working with local and international businesses and organizations, it is a win-win situation for both parties. It is a great way to find out how diplomatic spouses and family members can contribute to your organization!
