Was the theme of a panel presentation organized by the Institute for Democracy "Constantinos Karamanlis" and the Association of American Universities Alumni Association of Northern Greece with guest speaker
John Sitilides, Chairman, Board of Advisors, Woodrow Wilson Center Southeast Europe Project.

The lecture, taking place at the Electra Palace hotel, gathered about 200 attendees who engaged in a lively discussion about U.S. policy in the region and bilateral relations.

Vice Rector of the University of Macedonia and Professor of International Relations Ilias Kouskouvelis, and President of the N.G. Committee of the American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce Leonidas Kouidis joined Mr. Sitilides in the panel.

Professor Olympia Tziampiri, President of the Thessaloniki Committee of the Institute for Democracy "Constantinos Karamanlis," coordinated the discussion, while the President of the American Universities Alumni Association of N.G. welcomed the guests to the event.
