U.S. Elections:  The Path to the Presidential Nominations

On March 4, 2008, U.S. Consulate General organized a live digital video conference with Professor David Goldfield, of the University of North Carolina on the U.S. electoral system and the U.S. primaries. 

Professor Goldfield offered the students an overview of the key issues and developments in the current U.S. elections and explained the presidential nomination procedure.  Students asked questions and exchanged views with Dr. Goldfield about the process and possible outcomes.
