The United States Country of Honor in “Education 2007”
Athens (November 14, 2006) -- The United States of America will be featured as the Country of Honor in “Education 2007,” the 9th International Exhibition on Education. The exhibition will take place in Maroussi, Helexpo Palace, March 1-4, 2007, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, the General Secretariat for Youth, and the Municipality of Athens.
As the Country of Honor, the United States will present a variety of American institutions of higher learning and their programs. A series of presentations and parallel events throughout the exhibition will offer information about the country as a rewarding place to study, and about higher education opportunities for international students.
The Fulbright Foundation and U.S. Embassy representatives will be available to provide information on standardized tests such as SAT, GRE, and GMAT, and answer questions about student visa requirements.
Interested students and parents are invited to visit the exhibition and discover a whole new world of educational opportunities in the United States. Entrance will be free to the public.
