While in northern Greece for a series of meetings and courtesy calls, Embassy Political Officer Dan Lawton dropped by the American Corner of Veria to address high school students on the “American Presidential Election System.” Mr. Lawton explained the particularities and differences of the U.S. electoral system, the Electoral College and its tradition in American history, and the elections in the Senate and the House of Representatives.
