U.S. Visa Procedure Changes as of October 15, 2006
Athens – (October 3, 2006) The U.S. Embassy in Athens will implement new visa application procedures beginning October 15th, 2006.
Beginning October 15th, 2006, all applicants must complete the nonimmigrant visa form DS-156 electronically and in English. The form is available at: http://evisaforms.state.gov/. After the form is completed on-line, it must be printed and brought to the interview with the requisite photograph and appropriate documentation.
This new procedure will be implemented at every American Embassy throughout the world in order to improve efficiency and applicant data security.
